How do I find out about prices?
Our rates are published with each camper. See our "Camper Rentals" page. You can be provided with a specific quote on-line by using the Quotes & Availibility button OR by calling the Rental Department directly at 615-547-0000.
Can I rent an RV for 1 or 2 days?
No. We rent by the Weekend (Friday - Monday), Mid-Week (Monday - Friday) and Weekly (Friday - Friday). Long term rentals are also available.
What about mileage?
We do not have any "mileage" charges. All rentals include unlimited mileage.
Is a deposit required to reserve a camper?
All rentals require a reservation deposit of $250.00 which will be applied to your rental.
Are there other charges to consider?
Above the base rate of your rental, any extras you may decide to go with, such as a Generator or Brake Controler (Our state law requires a Brake Controler be used for towing any trailer over 2,000 pounds). Also, before returning your RV it is required that you clean the RV so that it is ready for use for the next renter. If you return the RV in a condition that is not clean and ready for use, you will be charged with a cleaning fee.
What are standard pick-up and drop off times for RVs?
Normal pick up times are between 1pm and 3pm, mon-sat. Special arrangements can be made for as early as 9am. All pick-up are made by appointment so that we can have a technician on hand, if you can not make your appointment time we ask that you call us asap to arrange a new one. Standard drop-off times range from 8:30am to 12pm. We are closed on Sundays so campers rented over the weekend must be returned on Monday. Times may very due to packages.
What about "dump stations" and water?
The RVs come filled with water and prepared dump tanks. You will find that most camp sites will offer a dump station, if you find that you forgot or were unable to dump, Family Campers Rentals does not have a dump station, so Fees will apply to have our staff dump for you.
Are refunds provided for early return of the vehicle?
Unfortunately no.
Are there late fees for returning the vehicle late?
Yes. We offer a semi flexible drop off time however we do charge for late returns.
What about insurance?
We are proud to announce that we now provide insurance on our campers at no extra charge to you. Most other rental companies will try and hit you with insurance costs at the time of check-out, not us. We use MBA Insurance, the best RV Rental company insurer in the business.
Can I rent a vehicle to pull a travel trailer?
We do not rent vehicles to pull travel trailers. Unfortunately, most truck rental agencies will not rent a vehicle for pulling anything but their own trailers. If you find a company that will rent vehicles that can tow our campers (with Class IV hitches, Brake Controllers & sufficient horse-power), please let us know - we would love to advertise their services on our website and have source we could lead our clients to.
Do you require a Security Deposit & if so, how much?
Yes we do require a "refundable" security deposit of $500 on all Family Camper RV's that we rent. The $500 covers the deductable of the insurance policy we take out on the camper before you leave. This will be refunded to you by check (mailed within a week of return) as long as the camper comes back undamaged and in the condition in which if left. Extra charges for late returns, undumped tanks and cleaning can also be applied to the security deposit.
